Hi, my name is Ivy, and frankly I'm not very interesting. My header is deliberately misleading.

Born December 23, 1989, female, Chinese American. A tomboy. Dresses daily in nerdy t-shirts and cargo pants/shorts. Styled her hair after that of a video game kunoichi. All of this true. Yes, even that last part.

I'm admittedly a bit of an asshole and will cheerfully mock anything and everything.

My life practically revolves around video games and anything and everything pertaining to them; this includes gaming news blogs, gaming magazines, gaming action figures, gaming buddies, and so on. Fun fact: I have four Halo posters on one wall alone.

Nowadays, I'm mostly a gamer with Western tastes. Meaning, I play a lot of shooters. I like JRPG's and such too, as my Asian blood would dictate, but not to such a great degree. Especially since there's such a distinct dearth of such on the 360. Japan hates Xbox, please observe.

I tend to talk a lot about Halo and my Xbox. Like...a lot. If you aren't interested in my latest plastic replica of a Halo character, then you should probably find someone else to talk to.

My dream is to become a concept artist or art director for a video game.

I used to like anime a lot. I still do, but I haven't watched/read a new series in a over year. I don't plan on returning to anime fandom. I fear the twelve-year-old yaoi fanfiction monkeys will eat my remaining brain cells. :(

In my free time, I like to draw dragons and aliens and pretend that I'm cool. I also get shameless pleasure out of researching computers and reading tech news. iPods suck.

Metal is my favorite genre of music. I like Metallica, Black Label Society, Megadeth, Rob Zombie, Ozzy Osbourne, Disturbed, and some other bands I most definitely forgot to mention. I also like the pretentious assfaces who think their idea of "good music" is the One and Only Right Opinion. They're hilarious.

Most of my good friends are male, because we share a common love for headshotting aliens. And people. And anything else that moves.

Drama is hilarious, and at the same time entirely intolerable. If I smell drama, you can guarantee that I will be half across the world from you before you can even blink.

The name of this page was shamelessly pulled from Rob Zombie's awesome song, Demon Speeding. I have no idea what it's supposed to be about, but the sheer adrenaline rush I get from it obliterates all need for reason.
